Functional Fitness
Getting older (and going through menopause) doesn’t have to mean more aches and pains or struggles with daily tasks. Age gracefully with functional fitness.
Functional fitness training improves your strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance to make everyday tasks easier. All by doing exercises that mimic your real life, like squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and rotating.
As an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist®, I use the latest evidence based research to teach women like you how to move in their body while balancing food and fun. Together, we can optimize your health and your quality of life for years to come.
Meet Your Coach
When I was 13, I started exercising at home with Cindy Crawford’s Shape Your Body. Not gonna lie, that Seal soundtrack kept me high-kicking my way through the ’90s. All the way to New York City, where my fitness career began.
After earning my first personal training certification, and then my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, I worked in upscale fitness centers and gyms in the Big Apple. And since starting Graceful Bodyworks in 2015, I’ve helped hundreds of Rochester women like you.
I’ve spent years studying exercise science and the human body, including chronic diseases, injuries, and medical conditions. So you get a safe and effective exercise program designed around your unique needs and goals. Plus, I provide the motivation, accountability, and fun to help you stick with it!
As your coach, I’m here to help you move better, feel more energized, and recover from daily activities through the menopause transition and beyond. If you’re interested in working together, I’d love to chat with you about your fitness goals.
